Loongson 7A2000 is the second-generation discrete graphics chipset for the Loongson 3 processor family, targeted at the server and personal computer markets. The Loongson 7A2000 has been optimized and upgraded on the basis of its predecessor 7A1000. Specifically, its PCIe, USB, and SATA interfaces have all been upgraded to 3.0. Its display interfaces have included two HDMI ports and one VGA port, allowing direct connection to monitors. Additionally, its integrated network PHY port enables direct network output. Furthermore, the chipset has integrated a self-developed GPU for the first time, using a unified rendering architecture. It is also equipped with a 32-bit DDR4 video memory interface that has a maximum capacity of 16GB.
Based on the first-generation chipset LS7A1000, LS7A2000 provides the important optimization as following:
-PCIe, USB, and SATA upgraded to 3.0;
-The display interface upgraded to 2-way HDMI and 1-way VGA;
-The GNET PHY integrated on chip to directly provide network interface;
-The self-developed GPU integrated with 32-bit DDR4 interface supporting a maximum of 16GB memory.
